Dr. Dana Zenobi of Butler University will use the principles outlined in the book, ACT for Musicians by David G. Juncos and Elvira de Paiva e Pona, in an interactive workshop for students, faculty, and staff. ACT stands for Acceptance and Commitment Training, and its principles are applied the the unique challenges faced by musicians, such as performance anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, pain and injury, and well-being. In this interactive event, Zenobi will guide student, faculty, and staff musicians through the principles in this book to give them tools to help with Music Performance Anxiety.
