The African Students Association seeks to promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation of African cultures within the campus community. Our mission is to foster unity among students of African descent, provide a platform for cultural expression and dialogue, and create opportunities for education, service, and leadership. Through programs, discussions, and events, AFSA aims to celebrate diversity and build connections between African students and the wider university community.

The mission of Queens University Art Club is to offer an accessible and welcoming
environment for Queens’ students to engage with, explore, and appreciate art. Fundraising efforts support professional visiting artists and travel opportunities for members. All studio art majors are honorary members of QUAC.

Membership Benefits
o There are no qualifications for membership, but the ideal member is one that is
eager to participate in club functions.
o There are no requirements to be recognized as a full-time member.
o Privileges of full-time members include the ability to attend any meetings with
or without guest speaker(s) and the opportunity to voice suggestions on the
business of the club (i.e., the identity of the speakers and event themes).
